Heart of our business is coir growing media, sourced from rural parts of Sri Lanka and our manufacturing facilities are located in a rural village where their daily income is less than USD 4. These unprivileged community go through hardships every day and find it hard to meet the daily necessities, the main cause is they don’t have a permeant income source. So having our Sourcing and manufacturing facilities based in these rural hardship areas help community to have a fixed income stream either being employed as our facilities or our suppliers’ facilities. Other than providing employment to rural community we are committed to multiple social responsibility initiatives such as,

• Charitable giving and volunteer efforts: We are donating portions of revenue to local community in Sri Lanka
• Changes to company policies in an effort to improve or benefit the environment: We are holding tree-planting events, minimizing paper waste, switching to energy-saving bulbs, setting up recycling bins and allowing remote work to reduce the negative impact of commuter traffic.
• Improving labor policies and embracing fair trade: We are striving to improve working conditions and the well-being of employees. We are giving parents significant periods of paid leave, Employee financial assistance schemes, more natural lighting, soft seating and free meals.
